Recipient of Playlab bursary: dramaturgical and directorial support • Brisbane, Australia • 2014
Alice received a bursary from Playlab, Queensland’s premier new writing theatre and publication organisations. The focus of the bursary was a creative development of Alice’s lyrical, physical play The Witch that Wasn’t.
As a playwright, Alice was mentored by acclaimed dramaturg and script editor Louise Gough in developing a new draft of the play. As director, Alice was advised by Ian Lawson, Playlab AD/CEO during the creative development and delivery of a private showing of the work.
