As part of a weekend long event, Alice wrote and performed an original short story with a focus on home and belonging. Alice also created and delivered a creative workshop for children of all ages, based upon the story.
Alice joined other artists as part of a multi-art form event celebrating Bournemouth’s diversity. The project brought together professional artists and the local community, including those with refugee backgrounds, to explore the theme of Welcome. It included exhibitions, multimedia installations, poetry, storytelling, song and arts and crafts. You can view a video compilation of the event here:
