Alice was selected to participate in Sanctuary 2023, the theatre artist residency programme at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts.
The focus of Alice’s residency was to develop a piece of new writing for radio, while being mentored by award-winning playwright Anita Sullivan.
Alice is very grateful to Dorset Community Fund, managed by the Arts Development Company, who made the mentorship possible. Alice would also like to thank Activate Performing Arts and writing agency ArtfulScribe for their support in funding the creative team’s time, making the residency possible.
During the residency, Alice and actors Jo Billingham, Becca Savory-Fuller, Katharine Senior and Michele O’Brien, explored experimental choral work, physicality captured in sound, and creating soundscapes for radio.
