Actor We3: Intimacy  as part of The Girls’ The Paper-Eaters Do Bargate Millais Gallery Off-Site Projects, Southampton • January 2010

Performance art trio We 3 (Antonia Beck, Felicity Crabb and Alice Flynn) shared Intimacy and interactive live art exploration, as guest artists for British pop art duo The Girls (Andrea Blood and Zerelda Sinclair) during their commissioned residency for Millais Gallery Off-Site Projects.

Intimacy questioned what intimacy is and how it impacts our relationship to ourselves, others and the world around us. We3 invited the public to engage the performers intimately, exploring awkwardness and ‘the edge’, the point where resistance and embarrassment may appear and what can arise after, when focus and connection are held in space and presence.
