In 2022 and 23 Alice was glad to join the Cloudscapes team on occasion, welcoming the public across the UK to lie down and cloudgaze under the wide blue (and white) skies.
Cloudscapes is the creation of artist Lorna Rees, Artistic Director of Gobbledegook Theatre. It is part installation and part performance. Audience members lie on giant bean bags and gaze up at the clouds while listening to Lorna’s audio performance piece that explores ‘the theatre of the skies’, clouds in climate change and Lorna’s own personal journey cloud gazing across Route 66 with her dad.
