WOMEN’S YOGA CIRCLE: THE WILD

6 x Weekly Sessions: A safe & sacred place to explore what is The Wild within you? What is it to embody our naturalness?

This enlivening, empowering & gently transformational work is anchored in: circle sharing, yoga, organic somatic movement & reflective practice.

The format will be simple: Alice will guide each session in response to the group – what is present & relevant for participants. Having worked with women for many years, Alice is an experienced and intuitive space-holder.

Themes that will likely be explored:

  • What the wild means for you. What questions you wish to explore and embody at this time in your life.
  • Wild: questioning norms and social & personal narratives – how to live beyond constructs in an embodied way.
  • The animal body & cultivating a resilient nervous system.
  • Boundaries, play & safety in daily life.
  • Learning to sense & follow instinct.
  • Expression & voice.
  • The Wild & connecting with a supportive pack.

Sessions are for all who identify as female, or non-binary, anyone with a cervix.

March: 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6 & 13

SPRING AWAKENING: A CACAO DANCE JOURNEY

Let us celebrate and welcome in the spring together.

Now is the time of renewal and rebirth. As the fertile earth warms up beneath us, we honour the sap rising within.

As the daffodil trumpets the new energies of the season, we will gather to herald in and invite forth all that wishes to flourish through us.

Whether you are slowly stepping into the season, or bounding into spring: come as you are, there is a space for all rhythms and expressions in this dance. It is a journey in which all is welcomed as we release, receive, rebalance and rejoice.

The journey will include:

– A sharing circle: compassionate listening to self, others, life.

– A simple, enlivening creative practice connecting to the spring energies inside and around us.

– Somatic practice & intuitive unwinding.

– Drinking heart-opening ceremonial-grade cacao, ethically sourced via Common Roots from the Mayan women’s collective Ruk’u’x Ulew.

– Moving to a curated playlist, one rooted in Spring.

– You are invited to bring an item for our community altar that will hold our offerings for the dance. You might choose to bring something that connects the seasonal energies or your prayers/intentions at this time.

– We will close with a short sharing circle and time for integration after the dance.

This evening is for everyone of any gender expression who feels to join us. No experience necessary.
